Today is day 13 of the Utah legislative session. In the Senate today:
  • The third reading calendar has a couple new items of business:
  1. SB 143: Income Tax – Pass-through Entities
  2. SB 42: Limitation on Action to Recover Deficiency Following Short Sale 
  • Also, the Senate Workforce Services and Economic Development Standing Committee meeting today has been cancelled.

SB48 raised questions in committee about the need of an “official vision” for public education written into state law.  Sen.
