The losses that come from exclusion / Las pérdidas de la exclusividad

It is clear that the new Alabama anti-immigration laws have opened a pandora's box. I am sure that many people that are exclusive and support these laws still cannot comprehend the extent of the losses that come from these exclusionary measures. In difficult economic times, it is evident to some of us that if we are truly interested in solving problems, we need good common sense solutions. Instead, we see too many creating problems that just make these times harsher and filled with more desperation for some families, already under distress. A study from the Center for American Progress points out some very interesting and crucial losses that, not only Alabama, but also adjacent states will suffer due to the new very harsh and exclusionary anti-immigration laws. Queda claro que las nuevas leyes anti-inmigratorias del estado de Alabama han abierto la caja de pandora. Estoy segura que la mayoria de las personas que excluyen a los demas y apoyan estas legislaciones aun no comprenden la severidad de las pérdidas que se sufrirán a causa de estas medidas. En estos tiempos difíciles,es evidente para algunos de nosotros que estamos realmente interesados en soluciones, que lo que hace falta son medidas con sentido comun. En lugar de ello, vemos demasiadas nuevas leyes y projectos de ley que crean mas problemas para familias que ya estan pasando dificultades extremas. Un estudio del Centro para el Progreso Americano reporta algunas perdidas concretas que se sufrira en toda la region, no solamente en Alabama.
